sometime in the future,

i want to open a deli, where i can sell delicious sandwiches to everybody, and share the wonders of a good sandwich!

i want to open a clothing store too, where i can sell beautiful clothes to everybody, and hopefully help them look good!

i want to open a bookstore as well. where i can sell insightful tomes of knowledge to everybody, and hopefully help them realise their true potential by reading more!

and i want to do them with you supporting me every step of the way.

im not stupid, nor am i naive. i know its gonna take quite awhile for me to even think of opening one of the above 3, i know too that i needa work hard for it. work hard, and work smart!

i do hope however, that i get the chance, at least once or twice in my lifetime, to open one of the above 3 shops.

time to suit up, and shape up =)

i have problems that i need to solve.

i think its better that i admit to it, then to keep it under wraps. its only going to harm me, and my loved ones in the long run.

Ris Low has been such a huge influence in the speech and ways of singaporeans.

she prolly doesnt know it, but unwittingly, we have her to thank for the humor that she has brought in light of all the bad things happening around the world recently.

i hear BOOMZ and RAD and BIGINI everywhere. and zipbra preens less so.

as the saying goes,

RAD is the new BLACK.

perhaps it isnt such a bad thing. or perhaps its just another fad.

but i just cant see RAD going away anytime soon!

lets just say a silent thank you, for there are still such clueless bimbos out there to give us a good laugh. on a side note, i dont even think she should be called a bimbo. at least bimbos are pretty.

well as you all know, or maybe you dont. but now im gonna tell you.

guess who went to watch FORMULA ONE?! haa!

YES ME! oh right. why am i getting so excited?

that's because it was an AWESOME experience!

what was the occasion again? it wasnt simply just because i wanted to bring my girl there and the both of us could experience it together for the first time, NO! it was a birthday gift! YES! that's right! and i tell you, she totally loved it! EVERY. SINGLE. MINUTE. OF. IT.

okay now, we got good spots for the race, Turn 14 if i remember correctly. i remember too, telling my girl that corners are good spots, for they are where overtaking occurs, and the cars run really really close to each other, increasing the possibility of crashes! lets face it, a high octane race without a crash would just take away a little of the magic, the excitement, wouldn't it?

HELL YEAH! well guess what? we witnessed not ONE, but TWO crashes right in front of our very eyes! first one occurred in the Formula BMW race, and the second one occurred in the actual race itself! Adrian Sutil vs Nick Heidfeld. nobody came out tops. lol. but what pure entertainment value it was! the entire crowd went "WOAH" and immediately out came the cameras, and flashbulbs started popping all over.

we had a really really good time at the race. OH did i mention we caught the Backstreet Boys LIVE?! inorite?! Backstreet Boys! how cool!

they were really, really good! and the girl and i bopped and sang to the songs that we knew, the one we didnt, we just enjoyed the music and each others' company.

we're definitely going to concerts together again!

what an awesome day it was for us, especially for the girl, as she welcomed in her birthday with such an awesome experience. so glad she liked it. high five!

i know i could have done it.

knowing it now,

i would have done it, without a second thought, and made all of you proud of me.

i would want all of you to feel the sense of pride, and achievement.

i would want all of you to feel tears well up in your eyes, to choke back the tears as you finally see me make it through.

im sorry dad, mum, cheryl, and most importantly, my dear nessa.

im sure all of you would have been proud of me, even my daddy, who was so against it.

the disappointment and regret i feel right now.

just for laughs!

now recently i brought the girlfriend to this little cafe, which i found through the web, its called The Garden Slug, located off Telok Kurau.

now listen! its really really bad.

1) service staff were clueless

2) they didnt stick to their mantra, which they stated so clearly on their menu

3) we waited 30mins or more for our food, despite the cafe being close to empty

4) they screwed up our orders. it came to us different from what we requested

5) we had to wave and wave, but still they didnt notice, i had to walk over to get them

6) they kept serving this particular table, like non stop. i noticed other customers didnt get any attention too.

7) they took their time to give us the correct order for our food.

8) and it came dry, the sauce came a few minutes later.

9) the portions were really small

10) it tasted really bad! fish was too salty, chicken was overcooked

11) it cost a bomb for such a small portion of bad food

12) the place was supposed to be cosy and minimalist from my POV, but it turned out to be just old and tacky.

we even had to go for meepok afterwards!

nothing like a good bowl of good AND cheap meepok, washed down with coke.

classic AHHHH.

just remember. do NOT. i mean it. DO NOT EVER patronise THE GARDEN SLUG.

just remember. NEVER ever! visit The Garden Slug. totally bad experience!
