let me just write a short post about my weekend.
weekend was rather sweet. im happy!
saturday was spent over @ my aunt's place over in Shunfu. delicious dinner and great company. my family's just so boisterous. i turned down the boys for mahjong, felt bad as i didnt know when i would leave and didnt want them to stand around waiting.
to my surprise they pulled out a mahjong table. and there i sat playing against my aunt, uncle and godpa. and no. i didnt lose. in fact. i won $50 in total. i am so looking forward to playing with the baby's girl friend from work.
sunday was.. simply wonderful. right baby? ;)
the baby came over and i sat through 2 hours *gasp* of a chinese serial with her after dinner. oh well. baby's so much more bilingual. not like me. i dont really understand the chinese shows. but she understands both the english and chinese shows. okay that's not really important. but she's good.
baby wanted to watch the charity shield with me, but i decided to skip it in favour of spending some quality time with her. and im glad i did. details are not included though. =)
drove the girl home at 12 and we spent 1.5hours just talking at the steps outside her home. we both agreed that it was a very wonderful talk session. and im sure we've grown stronger and so much closer because of that.
on a personal note, its been so long since ive had such a wonderful conversation with somebody, not to mention that it was my girl at the other end, that made it doubly sweet. ive always wanted my girl to be someone who has to be able to communicate well with me. looks like i made a quite the right choice and words just cant say how glad i am.
the past counts for nothing now. what's past stays in the past. your happiness lies in your present and your future.
all that matters now is our relationship. im so in love with the girl. she's been everything i've been looking for.
and boy, am i thankful.
i am so looking forward to baby sleeping over. cant wait. wonder when it'll be though.
