Sunday marked my, and baby's first musical.
AVENUE Q!
i decided we should celebrate our 3rd month a day early, because weekdays are just so blah for a couple to spend quality time together. i surprised the baby with a pair of tickets to Avenue Q and you could see how happy she was.
im totally in love.
Avenue Q was funny and for a couple's maiden musical, it was good. it provided many laughs throughout and we enjoyed ourselves! of course we had lots of photos taken. but that will be on facebook.
now i gotta say, the Esplanade theatre is really wonderfully done. the ambience was just wow. sorta like brings you back to the era of Romeo and Juliet.
and wow. our seats were great. even though a pair cost $186. i paid for the 2nd best seats in the house. and they didnt disappoint me at all.
the seats were at eye-level, and even though we couldnt see the actors' and actresses' faces THAT clearly, we werent in the front row mind you, we were still close enough to see the expressions on their faces as they acted and sang their hearts out for us.
kudos.
im so glad the baby enjoyed herself. we felt at home watching a musical, as though it was the 1001th time we had watched one together. lol.
money definitely well spent.
and
we've made this little pact. it'll be a play next! and we want to see the concert hall too!
all in all, it was a great experience for the couple. and we definitely had a wonderful time together!
now Monday was a different thing altogether.
we spent a quiet monday together, watching tv, dinner, just some quiet quality time together.
i came to look for the baby after camp, dinner @ Kovan's KFC, baby wanted to eat something i liked.
but baby, honestly, i dont find myself liking it so much now. once in a while is alright though. you must have done something right. ;)
we strolled back to baby's place afterwards, and had lots of fun talking on the way back. we love it when we talk dont we? about something or nothing at all. it just brings us sooo much closer each and every time.
communication between lovers is totally wonderful =)
now the baby's such a sweet girl, she got this card for me, and bought me a book.
THE FIRST BOOK EVER GIVEN TO ME BY MY GIRLFRIEND.
and the book she bought? P.S I Love You! haa
it means a lot! and the bookmark? it was totally L.O.V.E
