well what do you do on a cold and wet monday afternoon?
hmm..
stay in and watch a movie under the covers with your baby?
NAHbrew a cup of hot tea, get some cookies and read a good book?
NAHplonk yourself in front of the tv and catch what's on?
NAHdidnt think so.
why not go for a picnic?
great idea isnt it! that's what my sister's about to do at this very moment. she's going for a picnic!
eew. wet grass.
eew. cold weather.
granted she brought a flimsy tent. but hey. if it rains on her parade, its going to be one hell of a waterlogged sister thats coming home.
thats a big HAHA right there.
oh well.
just the other day my mum and i were talking about the mass influx of china workers in singapore.
its not that im being biased, neither am i wearing tinted glasses. but it kinda hits home when you see china workers doing everything. from sweeping the roads, to working in the shops, hell, they're even working in our hawker centres and eateries now. its not been once or twice when i get a chinese lady asking me whether i wanted extra chilli on my noodles in their heavily accented chinese. and i go like HUH. then i get what she's trying to say.
they are cooking our food now. -.-
and i wonder why the standard of our much beloved hawker fare is going down.
our
meepok dry, our
chicken rice, our
char kway teow, what next you tell me?
i really really wouldnt be surprised if i see a whole hawker full of chinese workers. which kinda sucks.
i shant say more.
im off to eat my lunch. chinese worker cooked no doubt.
P/S: just before i forget.

i caught
FOUR CHRISTMASES with the baby.
it was a really nice show with lots and lots of laughs.
really good. i shant spoil the show by telling what happened okay?
but one thing for sure. the baby and i were laughing from start to end!
go watch it now!
VIVA LA CHRISTMAS!
