i'll have you know,
we went to miss clarity @ Purvis for our 6th month dinner as the both of us had never tried it before.
i have pictures of the food, it looks nice enough, but hey.
classic case of "looks good on the outside, tastes shitty on the inside"
the food was really, really bad. the cuts of meat were very tough to cut, we were both using serrated knives, can you imagine that!
and also very hard to chew.
it was such a turn off. it didnt help too that the wait staff were all glum and sullen looking. i daresay the girl at the cashier counter looked fierce even.
it was a really, really bad experience for our 6th month dinner.
im giving it a 2/5 rating, and im being nice.
please, do not ever go there, unless you have differing thoughts about it.
i know for sure, that i, or rather we will not be going back there. again.
dinner was followed by a trip to the Marina Barrage!
we took awhile to find it, as i didnt know the exact location. but when we got there, we werent disappointed at all. it was really nice, very breezy and it lightened up the mood somewhat. we took pictures, but it didnt turn out too pretty because of the lighting and the wind and such.
we really liked the place, and its definitely not our first and last time there!
at the end of it all, when i sent baby home, she presented me with a little gift, the identity of which i will keep a secret, for it means a lot to me and i love what she's done =)
i know, its been a really really simple post with the vaguest of vague descriptions, and somehow i feel guilty. ive been really tired. no, correction.
the both of us have been really tired. we havent had enough rest at all, what with my camp, and baby's school, and of course our little shop, adding on to this is the fact that we've both have not had the kindest of weeks to end our 1st week of CNY.
thunderstorms, more thunderstorms, and even a violent tornado!
oh well =)
what's happened has already happened. i guess we just have to put it behind us.
in a few more days, CNY will be over and it'll be another year before it comes around again. how fast it has been!
i think im feeling quite unwell. time to go.
